For me, reading begins at home.

About This Quote

Not only are we taught at a young age to finish our homework, we are also taught to do so in the best way possible. For me, reading begins at home. As a child, I was more than happy to read whatever books my mother had on the bookshelf and more than happy to read whatever magazines she had lying around. I was never forced to read, and reading was always encouraged.

My parents were not only encouraging me to read, they were setting the bar high for me. It was almost as if they said, “You can do better than that!”
